Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle, spray pump and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the offer as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After cleaning, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely and only then refill the container.

For routine cleaning, we recommend using a mild cleaning agent and lukewarm water. Avoid using very hot water, aggressive solvents or rough brushes that could scratch the plastic surface. After washing, rinse the container with clean water, let it drip dry and allow it to dry completely. For disinfection, follow the recommendations for IPA or ethanol products and always check before the next filling that no residues of the cleaning solution remain in the packaging or in the spray pump.

Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for exposure to high temperatures. When in contact with hot water, during boiling or when washing in a dishwasher, the container may deform, the thread may be damaged and the functionality of the spray pump may deteriorate. We therefore recommend cleaning only at lower temperatures, without boiling and without using a dishwasher. In this way, the packaging will retain its shape, functionality and aesthetic appearance for a longer period of use.

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend first emptying it completely and removing any product residues. Then it is appropriate to separate the individual parts (bottle body, spray pump, cap) according to the type of material used, as stated in the product parameters. Based on this information, choose the correct sorting container for plastic waste or another appropriate type of collection. By following local waste sorting rules, you support efficient material recycling and reduce the amount of unnecessary waste.

The spray pump is ideal mainly for low-viscosity, liquid products on a water or water-alcohol base, such as facial and body sprays, hydrolats, air fresheners, gentle cleaning solutions or aromatherapeutic blends for room spraying. For thicker or oil-based formulations, we recommend performing a spray pump functionality test before filling – checking the fineness and uniformity of the mist to be sure that the dosing method will suit your specific product.
