Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol) or plant-based ethanol (Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný). This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and an impact on the stability of your products.
First rinse the bottle free of residues of the original product with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent. Then rinse with clean water, allow to drain and dry. After mechanical cleaning, it is necessary to disinfect the interior and the thread of the packaging with alcohol – it is practical to use preparations based on isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature and only then refill it.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first completely emptying it and removing any product residues. Always adapt the further recycling procedure to the material designation stated in the product parameters – plastic bottles are usually sorted into the appropriate plastic container, and the closure can be separated from the bottle if they are made from different materials. By following the recycling symbols and material designation from the parameter table, you contribute to more efficient waste sorting in your municipality.
