The plastic bottle with pump represents a practical and hygienic packaging suitable for dispensing various liquid cosmetic preparations. Thanks to the reliable mechanical pump, it allows comfortable and controlled application of the contents directly onto the skin or into the palm of the hand without unnecessary contact with the rest of the product, which contributes to longer stability and cleanliness of the formulation. This packaging is suitable for home as well as semi-serial filling of products where comfortable dosing and a professional appearance of the final product are important.
This bottle with pump is designed on Handymade as a ready-made combination of packaging and dispenser. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – in particular sealing, smoothness of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, content of oils, surface-active substances or alcohol).

Before first use, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and drying the bottle and the pump. It is then appropriate to disinfect with a suitable alcoholic solution the inner surface of the packaging and the parts that come into contact with the product, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for cosmetic use. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, let the packaging air out naturally and dry completely, and only then fill it with the final preparation.
Yes, this packaging can be reused with appropriate handling, but always under strict hygiene conditions. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly wash the bottle and the pump, check the mechanical parts and then disinfect them – ideally using alcoholic disinfectants such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Before re-use, make sure that no residues of the original product remain in the packaging, which could affect the stability of the new formulation.
If you decide not to use the bottle with pump any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material stated in the product parameters. Before handing it over for separate collection, remove any remaining contents and, if necessary, rinse the interior with water. Then sort the packaging into the appropriate container according to the material designation in the parameter table of the given product on the Handymade website. In this way, you support responsible handling of packaging and reduce the amount of waste in municipal collection.
The pump is suitable mainly for liquid and medium-viscosity preparations, such as light lotions, emulsions and gels. With very thick creams, dosing may be less smooth or may not work optimally. We recommend always performing your own test with the specific recipe and, if necessary, adjusting the viscosity of the formulation (for example by adding a smaller amount of water or liquid phase) so that it is compatible with the selected type of pump.
