Plastic bottle for fabric softener represents a practical and durable packaging solution suitable for filling various cleaning, laundry and utility liquid products. Thanks to its well-designed shape and reliable closure, it is ideal for products where convenient dosing, safe storage and clean handling are important, both for home and professional use. The smooth surface of the bottle makes labelling and branding easier, so it is well suited for smaller brands, artisan production, as well as test and refill series of products.
Plastic bottles in this category are designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing solutions, depending on the selected parameters. In practice, you can combine them, for example, with screw caps, flip-top caps, dosing caps or other practical applicators that make pouring and controlling the amount of product used easier.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – focus on sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, foaming, possible aggressiveness of the components).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle is suitable for repeated use, provided you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Ethanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After cleaning, allow the bottle to dry completely and only then fill it again.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that after emptying and rinsing it you place it in the sorted waste stream according to the material specified in the product parameters. First remove any label and the closure (this may be made from a different type of plastic than the bottle itself) and sort the individual parts according to local waste collection rules. Information about the specific type of plastic and the recommended recycling can be found in the parameter table next to the product, which will allow you to place it in the appropriate container for sorted collection. In this way you will support the reprocessing of the material and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
The bottle is primarily designed for liquid products of drugstore and utility character, such as fabric softeners, laundry gels, cleaning agents and various concentrated solutions intended for dilution. Thanks to its shape and volume, it is also suitable for products where you need to pour larger quantities, for example refills for dispensers or refill packaging. Before using it with less common or more aggressive formulations, we recommend performing your own stability and compatibility test with the bottle material.
When choosing a closure, it is important to take into account the type of neck and the desired method of dosing the product. In the product details you will find information about compatible closures that are directly linked to the given packaging on Handymade. For more viscous laundry and cleaning products, screw caps or caps with a pouring system are proven solutions, while for thinner solutions you can also choose various dosing mechanisms. All combinations available directly in the e-shop are tested and functional; nevertheless, we always recommend a short practical test – check the sealing, the smoothness of pouring and the behaviour of the product during normal use.
To make the selection easier, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. Using the filter, you can sort the range according to neck type, size, colour and material, so you can quickly find bottles, jars or pots that match your product. We recommend starting by choosing a suitable volume and neck type, then selecting the material and design, and finally, if needed, adding compatible closures, pumps or sprayers.
