The transparent plastic dispenser 24/410 with a shiny silver collar is an elegant and practical solution for precise dosing of various cosmetic preparations. Thanks to the design of the dispensing head, it is suitable for filling liquid formulations that require controlled measurement with each press. This type of dispenser is particularly suitable for bottles and vials with a compatible thread, where it helps improve user comfort and at the same time keeps the contents protected against contamination during everyday use.
Regardless of whether you combine the dispenser with a smaller bottle, a larger bottle or a laboratory container, it is intended for packaging with a compatible thread. Packaging and dosing components that are paired directly within the product range on Handymade have been practically tried and are functional in terms of normal use. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). This applies in particular to active ingredients, a high alcohol content or very viscous or conversely very thin products.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The dispenser is designed to work reliably with standard emulsions, gels and liquid personal hygiene preparations. For very thick creams or conversely extremely thin solutions, we recommend always carrying out a trial filling of a smaller amount and verifying the smoothness of dosing, back suction and sealing in the selected bottle or vial.
The dispenser can be reused provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is important to disassemble the entire dispensing body to the extent allowed by the design, thoroughly clean it mechanically, rinse it and subsequently disinfect it with a suitable agent. For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/) or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/), making sure that all parts are allowed to dry thoroughly before reassembly and filling.
For proper compatibility, the type and size of the thread on the bottle neck is decisive. In the product details you will find information about the thread of the dispenser, which must be compared with the parameters of your bottle or vial. If you use combinations of packaging that are created directly on Handymade, they are mutually tested and functional. For your own combinations, however, we recommend carrying out a test of sealing, dosing and spring return under repeated pressing, ideally with a test amount of your formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the dispenser, it is appropriate, after emptying the contents and carrying out basic cleaning, to place it in sorted waste according to the material composition given in the product parameters for the specific packaging. Most plastic dispensers belong in the container intended for plastics, while the individual parts (for example the plastic body and any metal spring) may be made from different materials. Always follow local waste-sorting rules and the information in the parameter table so that recycling is as effective as possible and in line with recommendations.
To select a suitable bottle, vial, jar or dispensing system, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the chosen packaging category. In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several parameters at once – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, colour and material. In this way, you quickly narrow down the selection to packaging and dispensers that meet the requirements of your formulation as well as the visual design of the final product.
