The black plastic cup is a versatile container for hygienic packaging and storage of products that are used repeatedly and require convenient access to the contents. The crucible is made of PET and, thanks to its opaque design, naturally restricts light access to more sensitive formulations. It is suitable for both cosmetic and food use - especially for thick, creamy, pasty or loose products.
Combinations of packaging and closures, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend to perform your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the container can be reused, provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each refill, the crucible should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, vegetable (ALK001 / ALK002), and allowed to dry completely.
It is not advisable to expose the PET material to high temperatures as this may cause deformation of the packaging. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling; we recommend gentle hand cleaning followed by disinfection.
It is most practical for creamy, pasty, gel and loose products that are taken directly from the packaging. For specific formulations, we recommend doing your own compatibility test.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. The crucible is PET - empty it, remove any product residue and sort it into the plastic collection according to local regulations. If the packaging is supplemented with other separate parts made of other materials, sort them according to the material label.

Yes, the crucible can also be used in the food industry, typically for nut butters, pastes and spreads, spice and bulk mixes or dry ingredients. For specific uses, we recommend taking into account the nature of the contents and doing your own compatibility test.

The white membrane is a sealing liner designed under the lid of the cups to help create a cleaner, more hygienic and more stable seal between the container and the cap. In practice, it serves as an additional barrier - reducing the risk of contents leaking into the thread, helping to protect the product from dust and moisture from the outside environment and increasing the comfort of handling the cup. According to the enclosed certificate, the packaging material is suitable for use with cosmetic products and is also suitable for direct contact with all types of food.

The membrane creates an additional sealing layer between the cup and the cap. It helps to improve leak tightness, limit product leakage into the thread and protects the contents from external influences during storage.
Yes. According to the enclosed certificate, the packaging material is suitable for use with cosmetic products and meets the relevant legislative requirements for this type of use.
Yes. According to the attestation, the packaging material is suitable for direct contact with all types of food. For a specific product, we recommend testing the entire crucible + closure combination in real storage conditions.
Yes, the membrane can be reused repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each reuse, the membrane should be cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), e.g. with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. Always check at the same time that the membrane is not damaged or deformed so that it can reliably fulfil its sealing function.
If you decide not to reuse the membrane, we recommend recycling it. As it is an EPE material, in practice it is classed as a plastic. Please dispose of the membrane in a sorted plastics collection in accordance with local rules and the instructions of your collection company.
