Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to wash the jar thoroughly, check its integrity and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example with isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and helps maintain the stability and safety of your products.

Disinfection before filling is an important step to minimise microbial load and preserve the quality of your cosmetics.

How can I dispose of or recycle this packaging in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the jar any further, we recommend as a first step to remove as much of the remaining product as possible. The glass part of the packaging is normally sorted into the container designated for glass. The plastic lid is sorted according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters, most often into the container for plastic waste. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse the packaging to reduce the amount of cosmetic residues in the waste stream.
