Milky glass jar with golden lid represents an elegant and practical packaging solution for cosmetic preparations as well as artisanal formulations, where aesthetics, protection of the contents and a professional appearance of the final product are important. Milky glass helps to reduce light penetration to more sensitive components, making this jar suitable for filling creamy, gel and semi-solid formulations that require stable conditions during storage. This glass jar is supplied with a matching golden lid, which together with the container forms a functional and visually unified whole. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that your specific product will be long-term stable in the packaging and practical to use.

Yes, the glass jar can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the container and the lid must be thoroughly mechanically cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried is the jar ready to be refilled with a new product.
Before first use, we recommend visually checking the jar and the lid, rinsing them with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with potable water and allowing them to dry completely. Then disinfect the surfaces with alcohol, for example using the product IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. When reusing, proceed in the same way and always make sure that no residues of the original product or of the cleaning agent remain inside.
Always store the filled jar well closed, in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations and humid environments, which may affect the consistency and stability of the cosmetic product. During use, we recommend not putting wet or dirty fingers into the jar – a suitable alternative is cosmetic spatulas or clean applicators, which help to reduce the risk of microbial contamination.
If you decide not to use the jar further, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the packaging can, after removal of cosmetic residues, be placed in a container intended for sorted glass waste. The lid must be sorted according to its material (for example plastic or metal), which is stated in the parameter table for the product. Before disposal, we recommend at least roughly cleaning the packaging in order to minimise residual product content in the waste and to facilitate subsequent processing in the recycling process.
