Product description

Plastic pill jar provides a practical and hygienic solution for packaging and safely storing solid forms such as tablets, capsules or small granules. Thanks to the reliable screw-closure system and the integrated induction liner, the packaging helps to minimize the access of moisture and air to the contents, thereby supporting the stability and shelf life of the product. The white opaque container looks clean and professional and has also proven effective in practice for packaging food supplements and cosmetic products in solid form.

Possible uses

  • packaging of tableted or encapsulated food supplements
  • storage of small granulated or powdered blends intended for dosing in smaller quantities
  • transport and storage of pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceutical products in solid form (pills, pastilles, dragees)
  • practical medicine bottle for homemade blends of vitamins, minerals and herbal preparations
  • packaging for small cosmetic products in tablets or capsules (e.g. bath or aromatic tablets in a smaller format)
  • organization and packaging of replacement doses of products into travel sets

Packaging advantages

  • Material stability – the plastic jar is designed for reliable everyday use; it withstands normal handling and impacts during storage or transport.
  • Contents protection – the screw cap in combination with the induction liner makes it possible to create an additional barrier against moisture and air, helping to protect sensitive substances from degradation.
  • Hygienic solution – the smooth inner surface of the container is easy to clean and is suitable for products where cleanliness and controlled dosing are important.
  • Practical handling – the compact shape of the medicine bottle fits comfortably in the hand and fits well into drawers, first-aid kits and travel bags.
  • Professional appearance – the white colour of the packaging looks clean, supports the perception of quality and is suitable for branded food supplements or pharmaceutical products.

Combining with closures and dispensers

The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ – Most frequent questions

Is the plastic jar also suitable for products other than pills and capsules?

The jar is primarily designed as a medicine bottle for pills and capsules, but in practice it is often also used for small granules, beads, pastilles or small solid cosmetic products. It is always important to verify whether the specific product is suitable for the size and type of the container and whether it can be dosed without problems and repeatedly closed again.

Can I use this jar repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled correctly. With every new filling it is, however, necessary to follow basic hygiene rules – mechanically clean the jar, remove any residues of the original contents and then thoroughly disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after drying and airing can the jar be filled again.

How should I correctly open and use the induction liner in the cap?

The induction liner is intended for additional sealing of the contents in order to minimize contact with air and moisture and to make the first opening evident. After the jar is filled for the first time, the liner is pressed between the neck of the packaging and the cap according to the technological procedure instructions, and it is then bonded in place. The end user removes the liner mechanically (by tearing or peeling it off) when opening it for the first time and then uses only the screw cap. We recommend always testing the functionality and sealing with your specific filling.

How should I recycle this plastic jar if I no longer want to reuse it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to recycle it in accordance with local waste collection rules. Before disposal, the jar must be emptied of any remaining contents and, according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters, placed in the appropriate separate collection stream (typically the container for plastic). You will find the recycling marking in the product parameter table; use this as guidance when sorting waste in your household or facility.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

The easiest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category at the top of the page, you will see an option to filter the packaging according to several parameters – specifically by neck type and size, overall size of the packaging, colour and material. This allows you to quickly choose a bottle, jar or pot that will match your formulation and the desired appearance of your product.
