Black glossy glass jar / white top represents a professional packaging solution for modern cosmetics and carefully formulated products. The durable glass material is stable, suitable for long‑term storage and helps protect sensitive compositions from external influences. The opaque dark glass naturally reduces light penetration to the contents, which is advantageous for products prone to degradation upon exposure to light. In combination with an appropriate closure, this jar creates a reliable container for controlled and hygienic dispensing.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the jar must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant‑based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried and evaporated do we recommend refilling the jar.
To select a suitable bottle, jar or medicine bottle, you can use the advanced filter in the packaging categories. It is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category and allows filtering by neck, size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can easily display only those packages that meet your technical and design requirements.
Glass is generally considered a stable and inert packaging material that is also suitable for sensitive formulas containing oils, waxes or active ingredients. The dark design of the jar also contributes to protecting the contents from light. Nevertheless, we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – fill a smaller amount of product, monitor changes in colour, fragrance and consistency, and also verify the behaviour of the closure during prolonged storage.
First mechanically remove any residues of the original product, wash the jar with a suitable cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly. The packaging must then be disinfected; products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based are suitable for this purpose. After the disinfectant has completely dried and aired out, the jar is ready for new filling. When working, pay attention to clean tools and minimise contact of the contents with hands.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass container can usually be placed in a glass recycling bin after removing any product residues and separating other materials if applicable. Closures are sorted according to their material composition (e.g. plastic, metal) in accordance with local waste‑sorting rules. When recycling, always follow the recommendations given for the specific product and the rules of your local collection system.
