The amino acids from apple juice benefit the skin in several ways at once:

- they help increase the cleansing ability of other ingredients, working in synergy with Proteol APPLE

- it contains other mild fruit acids that gently exfoliate and “lift” dead surface cells to reveal a brighter and fresher complexion underneath

- they help support the delicate cutaneous protein collagen and elastin cells of the skin and also help increase the production of these cells, which are very important for youthful skin (they also reduce skin sagging)

- they support the skin’s barrier layer, which feels slightly hydrated after cleansing

- Proteol APPLE even supports tissue health by strengthening connective tissue
