The plastic bottle with a black-and-gold spray pump is a practical and aesthetically attractive packaging, suitable for the convenient application of various liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to its transparent design, you always have an overview of the contents of the packaging and its current quantity, which makes it easier to control stock levels as well as the visual presentation of the product. The integrated spray pump allows even distribution of the preparation on the skin, hair, surfaces or textiles and is suitable for products that require fine and controlled dosing.
This product is a combination of a bottle and a functional spray pump, ready for immediate use without the need to purchase an additional cap. Combinations of packaging and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation), so that you can be sure that your particular product is fully compatible with this packaging in terms of stability, safety and user comfort.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. We recommend familiarising yourself with them before filling, so that you can correctly assess the suitability of the packaging for your specific purpose, type of formulation and method of use.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, both the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using suitable disinfectants such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Disinfection helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of your product.
Plastic bottles and spray pumps should be cleaned with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, then rinsed well and allowed to dry completely. PET-type material should not be exposed to high temperatures, because excessive heating may cause deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its mechanical properties. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for dishwashers or boiling. When disinfecting, use a cold or only slightly warm application of the disinfectant solution and avoid using hot water or steam.
Before finally introducing the packaging into production, we recommend carrying out an internal compatibility test. Fill a small amount of your formulation into the bottle, leave it for a certain period (usually several days to weeks) under the conditions in which the product will actually be stored and used, and monitor any changes over time. Check in particular for possible softening, cracking or colour changes of the plastic, the tightness of the joint between the bottle and the spray pump, the functionality of the spraying mechanism and any change in the fragrance or consistency of the product itself. If no undesirable changes occur, you can regard the packaging as suitable for your formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to recycle it according to the type of plastic material indicated in the product parameters and on the packaging itself (recycling symbol). Before placing it into sorted waste, we recommend emptying the bottle, rinsing out any product residues if necessary, and separating the plastic container from the spray pump where possible. Then place them into the appropriate container for sorted waste, in accordance with local recycling rules. By following the instructions in the parameter table and local recycling guidelines, you contribute to responsible management of packaging materials.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter available at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the extended filter, you can easily narrow down the offer according to neck type, size, colour and packaging material, so that you can find the bottle, dropper bottle, jar or pot that best suits your formulation and intended use. We recommend combining use of the filter with checking the product parameters and the Packaging Quality Certificate to make your final selection as accurate as possible.
The spray pump is ideal for thin, low-viscosity liquids such as toners, hydrolats, refreshing sprays, aromatherapeutic blends, disinfectant solutions or gentle cleaning preparations. For thicker emulsions, higher-viscosity oils or gels, it may be more appropriate to use a pump dispenser, dropper or classic screw cap, depending on the nature of the formulation and the desired method of application. When choosing, always take into account not only the consistency, but also the intended use of the product and the comfort of the end user.
