The plastic bottle with a gold disc-top closure represents a practical and aesthetic packaging for various liquid and semi-liquid preparations. Thanks to the material used and the well-thought-out design, it is suitable for comfortable dispensing, easy use and safe storage of the contents. The smooth surface of the packaging allows convenient labelling with stickers and professional presentation of finished products.
The packaging is designed to reliably protect cosmetic formulations, home-made as well as professional preparations during everyday use. The transparent design enables visual control of the contents, which you will appreciate when working with your own formulas, in test filling as well as with final products intended for customers.
This bottle is a standalone packaging that is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters. Depending on the assortment in the e-shop, it can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, atomisers or practical applicators corresponding to the neck type and the intended use.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially with active or atypical raw materials.

The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly wash the bottle and the closure, rinse them and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Ethanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Disinfection before filling helps to minimise microbiological risk and prolongs the stability of the finished product.
For plastic packaging made of PET material, it is not recommended to expose the bottle to high temperatures, because there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its mechanical properties. Such packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning and disinfection it is suitable to use lukewarm water, mild detergents and then an alcohol-based disinfection according to the recommendations in the product description.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that after emptying and basic cleaning you recycle it according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters. Information about the material type can be found in the parameter table next to the product on the Handymade website. According to this designation, you will place the bottle in the appropriate container for sorted waste (for example plastic). It is advisable to separate the closure if it is made of a different material, so that sorting and recycling can be as efficient as possible in accordance with local waste management rules.
To make it easier to choose packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, jars, medicine bottles). In the advanced filter it is possible to search for and combine packaging according to several parameters, such as neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly find packaging that best matches the properties of your product and the desired appearance of the final pack.
The disc-top closure is primarily designed for dispensing liquid to medium-viscosity preparations such as shampoos, shower gels, body lotions or cleansing solutions. With very thick formulations, dispensing may be less comfortable, so we recommend first testing the behaviour of the specific product in a smaller volume. If necessary, a different dispensing type can be chosen (for example a pump) provided there is a closure with a compatible neck available.
When filling, it is important to work in a clean environment, use clean working tools and thoroughly wash and disinfect the packaging before filling. For storage, we recommend protecting the packaging from direct sunlight and excessive heat in order to maintain the stability of the contents as well as the properties of the plastic. For more sensitive formulations it is advisable to carry out a trial filling and monitor the long-term behaviour of the product in the chosen packaging (colour, odour, viscosity, interactions with the closure).
