The plastic bottle with spray pump represents a practical and professional-looking packaging for various cosmetic and technical preparations. The transparent body allows for easy visual control of the contents, while the black spray pump with smoked overcap gives the packaging an elegant appearance and protects the application part during storage and transport. The bottle is designed to provide an even, fine mist and comfortable handling in everyday use.
The packaging is ideal for filling liquid formulations that require precise dosing in the form of a spray – from toning waters and floral hydrolats to cleansing, refreshing or styling products. Thanks to the suitably chosen material, the bottle ensures good stability of the contents under normal use and is also suitable for storing your own DIY products in small batches.
This bottle with spray pump is supplied as a functional combination of packaging and application element, which is ready for immediate use after filling. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.). This ensures optimal functionality of the spray pump and long-term stability of your product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging is made of PET type plastic material, which is light and resistant under normal use. However, PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, because with excessive heating there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning and disinfection, it is advisable to use recommended disinfectants at room temperature and avoid long-term contact with hot media.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging after the product has been used up, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. The packaging should be emptied, possibly rinsed, and then sorted into the appropriate container according to local waste collection rules, so that its efficient recovery in the recycling process is enabled.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and a suitable type of filling is used. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray head must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using suitable disinfectant solutions such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol 1 l or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based 1 l. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely at room temperature. Also keep in mind that PET material is not suitable for boiling or washing in a dishwasher, in order to prevent its deformation.
The bottle should first be rinsed with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent and then thoroughly rinsed. We then recommend applying a disinfectant solution (for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol 1 l or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based 1 l) at room temperature, rinsing the inside of the packaging with it and spraying it through the spray pump. Then let the packaging dry freely. Do not use hot water, do not boil and do not wash in a dishwasher, because at high temperatures the PET material may deform and the function of the spray pump may deteriorate.
The spray pump is most suitable for liquid, low-viscosity preparations that are intended to be applied in the form of a fine mist or spray. These include, for example, facial and body waters, hydrolats, hair tonics, deodorant sprays, air fresheners or light cleaning solutions. For thicker emulsions or oil blends, it is necessary to test the spraying functionality to prevent clogging or uneven dosing. Before filling with the final product, we always recommend testing the consistency and behaviour of the specific formula in this type of packaging.
Before recycling, the packaging must be completely emptied and, if necessary, residual product rinsed out with water. We then recommend separating the bottle from the spray pump and following the material designation, which you will find in the product parameters. According to this designation, you will sort the bottle into the appropriate container for sorted waste (for example a container for plastics) in accordance with local waste collection rules. The spray pump and the overcap may be composed of several types of plastics, so it is recommended to sort them according to local recommendations, or to place them in mixed waste if the recycling system does not allow more detailed sorting. By correct recycling, you support the recovery of the material and reduce the amount of waste.
To make it easier to choose suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific category (for example bottles, jars, dispensers, etc.). In the advanced filter, it is possible to combine several criteria at once – to select the required neck finish, size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way, you can quickly narrow down the offer to the packaging that best matches your formula, application requirements and the visual style of your brand. In case of uncertainty, we recommend comparing several types of packaging and possibly ordering a smaller quantity for testing before making the final choice.
The packaging is generally suitable for many types of aqueous and hydro-alcoholic solutions, as well as for blends with an appropriate proportion of essential oils. However, resistance always depends on the specific composition and concentration of the active substances. For products with a higher content of alcohol or essential oils, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – filling a smaller amount of product, observing the behaviour of the plastic (discolouration, softening, cracking) and verifying the long-term functionality of the spray pump. If you plan to work with very concentrated or more aggressive components, it is advisable to compare several types of packaging and choose the one that will be the most stable with the specific formulation.
