When filling the dispensing bottle, we recommend working in the cleanest environment possible, using clean tools and pouring or dosing the product slowly in order to minimise air entrapment. Before first use and before each repeated filling, it is advisable to carefully clean the packaging and disinfect it with a suitable disinfectant for packaging (for example with preparations available on Handymade). After filling, press the dispenser several times so that the system is aerated only at the beginning and the subsequent dosing is regular and even.

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dispenser must be emptied as thoroughly as possible, cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available on Handymade: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inner space of the packaging is completely dry do we recommend filling the bottle again, ideally with the same or a similar type of formulation, in order to minimise the risk of undesirable interaction of residues of the previous product with the new contents.

If you decide not to use the bottle with dispenser any further, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you place it in sorted waste according to the material given in the product parameters. Most often the body of the bottle is sorted into the container intended for plastic waste, and it is advisable to separate plastic parts that are made from a different type of plastic (for example the dispensing head itself and the cover). Before placing in sorted collection, we recommend removing residues of the contents from the packaging and from the dispenser. Local recycling rules may differ, so it is advisable to follow the instructions of your recycling yard or your municipal waste collection system.

The dispensing bottle is ideal for liquid or slightly viscous products where controlled application is important – for example facial and body serums, light emulsions, treatment solutions, facial treatments, hair tonics or special cosmetic preparations for local application. Thanks to the transparent body, it is also suitable for products where you want to visually present the colour or purity of the formulation. It is always necessary, however, to test the compatibility of the specific recipe with the packaging, especially at higher levels of alcohol, essential oils or active substances.
