The plastic bottle with flip-top cap represents a practical and hygienic packaging for cosmetic and hygiene products, which facilitates dosing and everyday use. The transparent material allows visual control of the contents and their quantity, thanks to which you have an overview of consumption as well as the aesthetic appearance of the final product. Thanks to the flip-top closure, the bottle is suitable for packing liquids and slightly viscous preparations that need to be applied comfortably and quickly.
The packaging type transparent plastic bottle with practical cap is popular for the production of body, facial and hair cosmetics, for hygiene preparations and auxiliary solutions for the home and professional workshop. The closure minimizes the risk of unintended spillage and at the same time allows controlled squeezing or pouring of the contents without the need for unscrewing, which increases user comfort and cleanliness when working with the product.
Individual bottles of this type are designed on Handymade so that they are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters. Within the range you will find, for example, screw caps, droppers, spray dispensers or practical applicators, which make it possible to adapt the final packaging to the specific type of formulation and method of use.
The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing accuracy and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content or active substances content).

The bottle can be used repeatedly provided that basic hygiene rules are observed and it is intended for the same or a similar type of product. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and subsequently disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or with 96 % plant-based ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and ensures the long-term stability of your formulation.
Plastic packaging made from PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, because excessive heating carries a risk of deformation and deterioration of the closing function. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. We recommend washing with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, thorough rinsing and subsequent disinfection with alcohol intended for this purpose. Such a procedure helps to preserve the shape of the bottle and extend its usability.
The suitability of using the bottle for products containing alcohol, essential oils or various active substances always depends on the specific formulation and the concentration of individual components. Before putting it into regular operation, we recommend carrying out a compatibility test – fill a smaller quantity of product, observe the behaviour of the packaging material, the sealing of the cap and any changes in appearance or odour over several days to weeks. In this way you will verify whether the packaging is long-term stable for the given formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material given in the product parameters. Usually it is necessary to empty the packaging, remove any residue of contents, possibly separate the cap or inserted components made of another material, and then dispose of it in the appropriate separate collection container for plastics. Adhering to local recycling rules contributes to a more responsible handling of packaging materials and reduces the amount of waste.
