The transparent plastic bottle represents a universal container suitable for packaging various liquid cosmetic products, homemade formulations and semi-transparent solutions where it is practical to visually check the fill level. Thanks to the transparent plastic, it allows easy monitoring of the colour and clarity of the product, which is important in both home and professional cosmetic production. The lightweight, durable and practical plastic vial is suitable for projects where convenient dispensing, safe handling and low packaging weight are a priority.
The bottle can be used repeatedly provided you observe basic hygiene rules and the container is in good condition after visual inspection (without cracks or deformations). Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-derived ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried is the bottle ready for further use.
For cleaning, we recommend using lukewarm water with a mild detergent, and if necessary a soft brush or sponge. Avoid using very hot water, aggressive solvents and abrasive agents, which may damage the surface or shorten the service life of the material. PET plastic should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not boil the bottle, do not wash it in a dishwasher and do not place it near sources of intense heat in order to prevent the risk of deformation of the packaging.
Always store the filled bottle tightly closed, in a dry environment, at a stable room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Long-term exposure to heat or intense light may affect not only the material itself, but also the stability of the stored product. If you work with more sensitive formulations, it is recommended to store the bottle in the shade or in a cupboard and minimise frequent temperature fluctuations.
If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the specific product on the Handymade.sk website. After emptying, rinse the contents thoroughly, or remove any product residues, and sort the bottle into the appropriate container according to the material designation on the packaging (for example plastic). The closure and any dispensing components may be made from a different type of plastic, so it is advisable to separate them before sorting and follow local recycling rules.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the appropriate packaging material category. With the help of the filter, you can quickly narrow down the offer according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and packaging material. By combining these criteria, you will select a bottle, jar or pot that best matches your formulation and the method of product application.
When choosing a closure, always check the neck compatibility and the recommended combinations given directly with the product. Then take into account the viscosity and character of your product – thin, water-based solutions usually work better with a fine applicator or sprayer, while thicker preparations may require a different type of dispensing. Although the container and closure combinations on Handymade are tested and functional, before introducing the product into practice we recommend performing your own test of sealing, dosing and material behaviour under long-term contact with the specific formulation.
