The transparent plastic bottle is a practical and versatile packaging suitable for various liquid and gel formulations. Thanks to its dimensionally stable body and well-finished neck, it is ideal for precise dosing, easy filling and safe storage of products in cosmetics and other segments. The transparent walls allow visual control of the contents and residues, which makes work easier in both home and professional production.
The packaging is designed to be comfortable to handle, to fit well in the hand and to be conveniently combined with different types of closures and dispensing systems. The appropriately selected material ensures long-term dimensional stability, reliable sealing when compatible closures are used, and a clean, professional appearance of the final product.
The bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. The packaging–closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying the sealing, dosing, and the behaviour of the packaging and closure in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, pH, etc.).
When choosing a suitable dispensing system, take into account whether it is intended for fine misting, dropwise dosing, precise measuring of small quantities or fast pouring. The correct combination of bottle and closure helps to ensure comfortable and hygienic use of the final product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. There you will find detailed information needed for correctly integrating the packaging into the production process, for its labelling and safe use.
The packaging is made from PET-type plastic, so it should not be exposed to high temperatures. With prolonged heating or contact with very hot media, deformation of the packaging and changes in its mechanical properties may occur. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle manual cleaning and disinfection with suitable agents according to the instructions below are recommended.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed and an appropriate cleaning method is used. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. PET material is not suitable for boiling or washing in a dishwasher, so always choose gentle manual cleaning and short-term contact with the disinfectant in order to preserve the dimensional stability of the packaging.
After emptying, remove product residues by rinsing with lukewarm water and, if necessary, with a mild detergent suitable for hand washing. Then rinse the bottle with clean water and allow it to drain. Before new filling, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface of the packaging and the contact parts of the closure using an alcohol solution, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Allow the disinfectant to act briefly and then let the packaging air dry. Due to the risk of deformation of the PET material, do not use high temperatures, do not boil and do not wash in a dishwasher.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the instructions given in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website. A bottle made from PET plastic is usually sorted into the container intended for plastic waste, but always respect local waste sorting rules and the pictogram shown with the product. Before placing it in the container, remove any remaining contents, lightly rinse the packaging and, if possible, separate any different materials (for example paper labels or another type of closure). By correct recycling you help reduce the environmental burden and support the reuse of materials.
The plastic bottle made from PET is generally suitable for several water-based formulations and for some solutions containing alcohol or essential oils. However, the resistance always depends on the specific composition of the product (alcohol concentration, type and amount of essential oils, pH and other additives). Before using it in full-scale production, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – filling a smaller amount of the formulation, monitoring the behaviour of the packaging and the closure over time (change of colour, softening, deformation, deterioration of sealing) and, according to the results, adjusting the formula or choosing another type of packaging.

We recommend first defining the dispensing method and the character of the product (liquid, gel, oil), then choosing a suitable neck and volume, and only afterwards fine-tuning the colour and design. In this way you will find packaging that is functional, aesthetic and well aligned with your brand.
