Transparent round plastic bottle with DISC TOP closure in a gold finish and black centre is a practical packaging component suitable for professional as well as home filling of liquid and slightly gel-like preparations. Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the closure and disinfect them with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After cleaning, allow all parts to dry completely to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.
First rinse the bottle with warm (not boiling) water with a mild detergent to remove residues of the previous contents. Then we recommend using a disinfectant alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, with which you rinse the interior and the surface. Do not boil the bottle or the closure and do not put them in a dishwasher to prevent deformation. After disinfection let all parts dry freely at room temperature.
The plastic material used is not intended for long-term exposure to high temperatures. When in contact with hot liquids or when heated above the recommended range, deformation of the packaging or a change in its mechanical properties may occur. Therefore we do not recommend washing the bottle in a dishwasher, boiling it or filling it with products at a very high temperature. The packaging is ideally filled at room or slightly elevated temperature, depending on the nature of the specific formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way through separated waste collection. First use up or, where possible, remove the remaining contents and rinse the bottle. Then follow the type of plastic specified in the product parameter table on the page – according to this, place the packaging in the appropriate collection container for plastics. In this way you support its further processing and recycling in accordance with local waste management rules.
The bottle is suitable for a wide spectrum of liquid and slightly gel-like products, but each formulation may react differently to the plastic and the closure sealing. Therefore we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test, in which you verify the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your product (change in colour, odour, softening of the plastic, tightness and stability during long-term storage). The test should be performed under conditions similar to real use, including storage temperature and indicative shelf life.
