FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this bottle suitable for thicker creams or rather for more liquid products?

The bottle with pump is most suitable for liquid and semi-liquid formulations, such as gels, lotions and emulsions with light to medium viscosity. For very thick creams, we always recommend testing the pumping ability of the pump with the specific recipe so that you can be sure of smooth dosing without excessive load on the mechanism.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly for several batches of my own products?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the pump must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured – plant-based. Only after the packaging is completely dry is it appropriate to proceed with refilling in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination.

How can I safely and ecologically dispose of or recycle this packaging if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend correctly sorting it after emptying and basic rinsing, in accordance with the material stated in the product parameters on the website. It is advisable to remove any product residues from the bottle and pump before placing them in sorted waste. Correct placement in the appropriate container according to the type of plastic supports effective recycling and reduces the amount of mixed waste.

Is it possible to use this bottle for products intended for travel or for carrying in a handbag?
