The transparent plastic bottle with cap is a universal container suitable for packing both home-made and professional preparations. The transparent walls allow for easy visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate for both liquid and gel formulations. The stable shape and durable plastic material ensure reliable preservation of the product and convenient handling in everyday use.
Thanks to its smooth surface, the bottle is easy to clean, labels adhere well, and the packaging looks aesthetic in the bathroom, in the salon, and in the home workshop. The practical plastic closure protects the contents from impurities and accidental spillage, which makes this container a functional solution for a wide range of cosmetic and technical mixtures.
Warning regarding PET material: this type of plastic packaging should not be exposed to high temperatures, as excessive heating poses a risk of deformation. The packaging is not suitable for dishwashing or boiling.
Plastic bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads, or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for the specific product. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing, and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for preparations containing alcohol, acids, or essential oils.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed and material wear is taken into account. Before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. For PET material, avoid exposure to high temperatures – do not boil the packaging and do not wash it in a dishwasher, so that it does not become deformed or lose its sealing properties.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with clean water, optionally with a mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly, and allowing it to dry completely. Afterwards, it is advisable to treat the inner surface and the inside of the cap with an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the stability of the filled product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it, rinsing it as thoroughly as possible from product residues, and then sorting it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. Information about the material (for example the designation of the specific plastic) can be found in the technical description, and based on this you place the bottle into the appropriate fraction of sorted waste. The cap is often made from a different plastic than the bottle body, so it is advisable to separate the two parts and sort them individually according to local plastic collection rules.
For storage, we recommend protecting the packaging from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. PET material is not intended for long-term exposure to high heat, so do not place the bottle near heat sources, in a car in direct sunlight, or in an environment with significant temperature fluctuations. Also avoid contact with very aggressive solvents that could damage the material – for non-standard formulations it is always advisable to carry out a trial filling in a small quantity.
When choosing the ideal packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently combine several parameters at once – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour and the material. Thanks to this you can easily narrow down the offer to packaging that best suits your product and the intended dosing method.
The plastic bottle is significantly lighter and less fragile, which is an advantage when travelling, sending parcels, or working in the field. In the event of a fall, there is no risk of breakage or sharp shards. Glass vials are, on the other hand, suitable mainly where you prefer higher chemical resistance or a specific appearance. With plastic PET packaging, it is necessary to take into account limitations at higher temperatures and consistently avoid boiling or washing in a dishwasher.
