The transparent, rounded plastic bottle with flip-top cap is a universal packaging solution suitable for clear and aesthetic filling of various liquid and carefully formulated preparations. The transparent design allows instant visual inspection of the contents and supports an attractive presentation of the final product while maintaining practical use in everyday routines. Thanks to its well-thought-out shape and high-quality workmanship, this bottle is suitable for artisanal as well as smaller semi-professional production.
The individual plastic bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of caps and dispensing systems available in the Handymade.sk range. Depending on the selected parameters, it can be combined for example with screw caps, dropper caps, sprayers or practical applicators, if these are available for the given neck type in the relevant categories. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
When working with plastic packaging, it is important to follow the recommended conditions of use. In particular for packaging made of PET material it applies that they are not suitable for exposure to high temperatures, in order to prevent deformation of the bottle and impairment of the functionality of the closure. Such packaging is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. When deciding on the final use, always take into account the nature of the specific formulation and verify its behaviour in contact with the packaging using a trial batch.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled correctly and undamaged, always in compliance with basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol from the Handymade range. For disinfection you can use for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after the packaging has dried thoroughly is it appropriate to proceed with refilling it.
For normal cleaning, rinsing with warm water and a mild cleaning agent is sufficient, followed by thorough rinsing with clean water. It is then appropriate to disinfect the packaging with alcohol, for example using the product IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based, and leave it to dry completely. For plastics of the PET type, the use of very hot water, boiling or washing in a dishwasher is not recommended, as this may cause deformation of the packaging and reduce its functionality.
Plastic packaging made from materials such as PET is not intended for filling with hot or freshly cooked mixtures, nor for thermal processing of the contents directly in the container. High temperatures may cause deformation of the bottle walls, worsen the sealing of the closure and negatively affect the overall stability of the packaging. It is recommended to fill only completely cooled or room-temperature products, and for specific formulations first test a small trial quantity.
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters on the website. After emptying and rinsing the packaging, place it in the appropriate sorted waste stream according to local collection rules (this is usually the container designated for plastics). If the cap and the bottle body are made of different materials, it is ideal to separate them and sort them individually, provided that the local waste collection system allows this. By following these principles, you support effective recycling processes and the reduction of the amount of mixed waste.
You can significantly simplify the selection of suitable packaging by using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows sorting according to key parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material of the packaging. By combining several filters, you can quickly narrow the range down to bottles, jars or pots that best match your formulation and intended method of use.
The compatibility of the packaging with the formulation is best verified by means of a small trial batch. It is recommended to fill a smaller amount of product, close the packaging with an appropriate cap and observe any changes over several days – sealing, changes in colour or odour, softening of the plastic or leakage of the contents. For formulations with a high content of alcohol, essential oils or other active components, testing is particularly important. Only after a successful test is it appropriate to proceed with filling the full production volume.
