The plastic bottle with transparent disc-top cap is a universal container suitable for filling various liquid cosmetic preparations, cleaning solutions and auxiliary blends for home formulations. The transparent design allows good visual control of the contents and fill level, which is practical for everyday use as well as for testing your own formulations. Thanks to the practical disc-top system, dispensing is comfortable, controlled and limits unwanted leakage during transport or storage.
The container is made of high-quality plastic material that is lightweight, durable and suitable for repeated use, provided that proper hygiene procedures are followed. It is ideal for cosmetic products with different viscosities – from liquids to lighter gels – and can be used in home production, artisanal manufacture and by smaller natural cosmetic brands.
This bottle is supplied directly with a disc-top cap, which ensures comfortable and controlled dispensing of the liquid contents. Combinations of containers and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, solvent content, etc.).

Before specific use, we recommend checking the suitability of the material for the given type of fill, storage conditions and method of use, especially for products with a higher content of alcohol, active substances or for long-term storage.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the product. For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, allow the container to dry and ventilate, and only then refill it. If you decide not to use the container further, we recommend placing it in the appropriate separated waste stream according to the type of plastic material indicated in the product parameters.
Plastic packaging is generally not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. Hot contents should be filled into the bottle only after partial cooling to a safe temperature recommended for the specific plastic type in the product parameters. Do not expose the bottle to prolonged direct sunlight, proximity to heat sources or extreme overheating, in order to avoid possible deformation or reduction of material stability. The container is not suitable for boiling or for washing in a dishwasher – for cleaning, prefer hand washing in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, followed by disinfection.
First empty the bottle and cap and rinse them thoroughly with lukewarm water, optionally with the addition of a mild cleaning agent suitable for cosmetic packaging. Then we recommend using an alcohol-based disinfectant – for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Rinse the inside of the bottle with alcohol, or spray it onto the inner and outer surfaces and allow it to air dry. Make sure that before refilling there are no residues of water or cleaning agents left in the container, which could affect the stability or consistency of the product.
Before disposal, empty the bottle and remove product residues as much as possible by rinsing. Then place the container into the separated waste stream according to the type of plastic listed in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website (information about material and recycling symbol). The cap and the body of the container may be made of different plastics, so it is ideal to separate them before recycling. By following the recommended sorting, you support efficient processing of materials and their possible reuse in the recycling chain.
To select the right container, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. You can access it at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, jars, dispensers, etc.). In the filter you can combine several parameters at once – type and neck diameter, size/volume, colour, container material and other properties. In this way you can quickly narrow down the offer to only those containers that meet the technical and design requirements of your specific product.
The disc-top cap is ideal for liquid and low-viscosity products where controlled dispensing in smaller volumes is desirable – for example shower gels, liquid soaps, shampoos, body emulsions, facial cleansers or hair tonics. The opening of the cap allows the product to be dispensed drop by drop or in a thinner stream, which minimises waste and increases user comfort. Before filling with a specific formulation, we recommend a trial filling to verify the appropriate speed and accuracy of dosing at the actual viscosity of your product.
