The transparent plastic bottle is a universal and practical packaging solution suitable for a wide range of liquid and slightly viscous products. Thanks to its transparent design, it enables easy visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate in both home and professional production of cosmetics, cleaning agents or technical solutions. The high-quality plastic material ensures low weight, good mechanical resistance and comfortable use in everyday practice.
These bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol or oil content).
If you are working with products with a higher alcohol content or active ingredients, it is advisable to perform both a short-term and a longer-term storage test to make sure that the packaging and the chosen applicator remain stable and show no signs of material degradation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The PET-type plastic material requires gentle handling with respect to temperature. The PET packaging should not be exposed to high temperatures, as this may lead to deformation of the shape and deterioration of the functionality of the closure. For this reason, it is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning we recommend hand washing with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, followed by disinfection with an appropriate alcohol-based preparation.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled properly and if the surface is not damaged. However, with every refilling it is important to follow basic hygiene principles – first clean the bottle mechanically and then disinfect it thoroughly. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example technical isopropyl alcohol or food-grade ethanol available in our range: IPA 99 % izopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After applying the alcohol, allow the packaging to dry completely and air out, and only then refill it.
PET material is sensitive to high temperatures, therefore washing in a dishwasher or boiling is not recommended. Clean the bottle by hand with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, possibly using a soft brush to avoid scratching the surface. After mechanical cleaning, we recommend disinfecting it with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný), shaking out the remaining solution well and allowing the packaging to dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
PET packaging is not intended for filling with hot products or for thermal sterilisation. At higher temperatures there may be deformation of the bottle walls, deterioration of stability and disruption of the tightness of the closure. It is recommended to fill only completely cooled or room-temperature products, to avoid direct contact with hot surfaces and not to leave the packaging for a long time in an overheated environment (e.g. in a car in the sun). This will extend the service life of the packaging and preserve its functionality.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of material used, as indicated in the product parameters. Plastic bottles made of PET are normally sorted into the plastics container. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is advisable to empty the packaging and, if necessary, rinse out any remaining contents and, where possible, separate the bottle from the cap or spray head (these may be made of another type of plastic or contain metal parts). Observe local waste sorting rules, which may specify more detailed instructions for various types of plastics.
When selecting packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. This filter allows you to quickly and clearly narrow down the offer according to key parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can tailor your selection to the specific requirements of the product – from viscosity and method of dosing to the visual style of your brand. After displaying the narrowed results, you can then read the detailed description of each packaging and check the parameters as well as the recommended combinations with closures.
The choice of a suitable closure depends on the nature of your product and the desired method of application. For low-viscosity liquids, screw caps, droppers or fine spray heads are practical; for toners and facial waters, classic closures with controlled flow are appropriate. In the product detail you will find information about the neck type, which will make it easy to match a compatible cap or dispenser from the Handymade range. All pre-prepared combinations of packaging and closure are tested, but we still always recommend trying your own test batch – verifying tightness, dosing comfort and formulation stability during storage.
