The transparent round plastic bottle with aluminium cap is a universal container suitable for modern, visually attractive packaging of liquid and lightly viscous products. The transparent bottle enables immediate visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate for cosmetics, home-made preparations as well as semi-professional or artisan products. The combination of a PET bottle and a metal closure looks both aesthetic and practical – the packaging is stable, sits well in the hand and is ready to be labelled with a sticker or printed decoration.
The stand-alone plastic bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters in the Handymade offer. You can combine it with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, thanks to which you can easily adapt the method of dosing to the particular product and target group.
The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for preparations containing alcohol, essential oils or other active substances.

For plastic packaging made of PET it is important to respect the properties of this material. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures – excessive heating may lead to deformation of the packaging and loss of shape stability. For this reason the packaging is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle cleaning with lukewarm water and a suitable detergent is recommended, followed by thorough rinsing and disinfection according to the intended use.
The bottle made of PET plastic can be reused for home and artisan use provided that you observe basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling always clean the container thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This will reduce the risk of microbiological contamination and ensure the longest and safest possible service life of the packaging. At the same time it is necessary to make sure that the container is not mechanically damaged or significantly worn.
Never boil the PET bottle and do not wash it in a dishwasher in order to prevent deformation. Manual washing in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, thorough rinsing and natural drying is recommended. After drying, disinfect the bottle and, if necessary, also the closure with a suitable alcohol solution, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Leave the disinfectant solution to act for a short time, then pour out the excess and allow the container to dry thoroughly at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
The bottle made of PET material is not intended for filling hot or freshly heat-processed products. Exposure to high temperatures may lead to deformation of the packaging, reduced mechanical stability and deterioration of appearance. It is recommended to fill only products with a temperature close to room temperature. If you work with formulations that require heating, it is advisable to let them cool down first in a separate vessel and only then pour them into the PET bottle within a safe temperature range.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with the information given in the product parameters and the recycling marking on the packaging. The bottle body made of PET material (usually indicated in the form of a recycling symbol with the relevant plastic code) belongs in the appropriate container for plastics. The aluminium cap should be sorted separately according to local rules for the collection of metal packaging. Before disposal always empty the container completely and, if necessary, rinse it out in order to minimise product residues in the waste. Specific recycling recommendations may differ depending on the local collection system – therefore follow the instructions of your waste collection provider and the information in the product parameters.
