The transparent plastic bottle with a disc-top closure is a universal container suitable for hygienic and aesthetic packaging of various liquid cosmetic preparations as well as auxiliary solutions. Thanks to its practical shape and reliable closure, it is ideal for everyday use in the bathroom, in a salon, and within your own branded cosmetics range. The bottle design enables comfortable dispensing and control of product consumption, while the transparent walls make visual inspection of the product easier.
The disc-top cap ensures convenient, clean and precise dispensing without the need to unscrew the entire closure, which reduces the risk of contamination of the contents. Thanks to the appropriately selected plastic material, the packaging is lightweight, resistant to normal mechanical stress and suitable for home and semi-professional use. The packaging offers a practical solution for smaller production batches, travel sizes and product sets.
This bottle is supplied on Handymade in combination with a disc-top cap. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
Before final implementation in your production, we recommend testing the behaviour of the packaging during long-term contact with the specific product (viscosity, dispensing performance through the disc-top, closing and backflow of the product into the bottle).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
For this plastic packaging made of PET-type material, it is necessary to take into account the specific properties of the material: PET is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures; in the case of excessive heating, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, therefore the packaging is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. Hand cleaning at lower temperatures is recommended, in line with the recommendations given in the documentation, and in the case of repeated use, thorough disinfection is always required.
The bottle can be reused under normal use, provided that you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each refill, the packaging must be thoroughly rinsed, cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. For PET material, avoid high temperatures; do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher to prevent deformation of the packaging.
If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The bottle body usually belongs in the container designated for plastic waste; it is advisable to remove any residue of the contents and, where possible, separate any multi-component parts of the closure. The specific recycling symbol and sorting recommendation can be found in the parameter table for the given product on Handymade.sk, and should be used to assign the packaging to the correct collection container in accordance with local waste sorting rules.
The bottle with a disc-top cap is most suitable for liquid to medium-viscosity products that are dispensed in small amounts by lightly pressing the cap. These are mainly cleansing facial waters, micellar solutions, mild shampoos, shower gels, body lotions, hair tonics and light oil or two-phase blends intended for external use. Before introducing the bottle into your production, we recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in the packaging, particularly in terms of dispensing and compatibility with the material.
To minimise the risk of leakage, it is important to tighten the cap correctly, not to overfill the bottle beyond the recommended filling level, and to check that the disc-top part is firmly snapped into the closed position. For formulations with very low viscosity or for products that are exposed to pressure and temperature fluctuations during transport, it is advisable to carry out a trial shipment and to add secondary protection to the bottles for dispatch (for example, shrink wrap, a protective bag or suitable void fill in the carton).
To select appropriate packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category, a filtering option will appear at the top of the page, where you can select according to several parameters – particularly neck type, packaging size, colour and material. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow the offer down to the packaging options that best suit the specific product and the desired method of dispensing.
We recommend verifying compatibility on a small test sample before launching a large production batch. Fill the bottle with a sample of the product, keep it closed and monitor the behaviour of the packaging under normal conditions and slight stress conditions – changes in colour, softening or deformation of the plastic, leakage of the contents through the thread or disc-top at different temperatures and during handling. The test should also include a longer-term stress test under real storage conditions of the product in order to verify dispensing, sealing and formulation stability over time.
