The plastic bottle with a transparent, clean design and an elegant disc-top closure is a universal packaging suitable for various types of liquid and slightly viscous products. Thanks to its practical shape and reliable sealing, it represents a professional solution for cosmetic brands, artisanal production and smaller filling facilities. The disc-top cap allows convenient dosing of the contents with one hand, while minimizing the risk of accidental spillage and ensuring good hygienic handling during normal use.
The packaging is designed to be easily integrated into existing product lines – it is suitable for both minimalist and more luxurious labels. The transparent walls of the bottle allow visual control of the quantity and appearance of the product, which you will appreciate especially during manual filling, when selling handmade cosmetics or when refilling products in premises.
Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
If you are working with a new formula, it is advisable to first test a smaller trial series to verify how the filling behaves in contact with the plastic material and the disc-top mechanism during longer-term storage as well as during transport.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused under certain conditions, if hygienic principles are strictly observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. When working, make sure that the disinfectant has completely dried and that no residues of cleaning substances remain in the packaging that could affect the quality of your formulation.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The recycling procedure depends on the type of plastic listed in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. Before handing it over to sorted collection, it is advisable to empty the packaging, if necessary lightly rinse it from residues of the filling, and separate the bottle itself from the closure, if possible. Packaging prepared in this way is placed in the appropriate container according to the material designation in the product parameters.
Plastic packaging intended for cosmetic and similar products is not designed for long-term contact with high temperatures. When exposed to hot liquids or when heated above the recommended temperature range, there may be a reduction in shape stability, possible deformation or deterioration of the functionality of the closure. For these reasons we do not recommend filling the bottle immediately after boiling or heating the filling – let the formulation first cool down to a suitable application temperature. The packaging is not intended for boiling or for washing in a dishwasher.
For even dosing, the correct tightening of the closure on the bottle thread and a suitable viscosity of the product are important. With formulations that are too thick, the outflow may be slowed down, while with very thin ones it may be more intense. We recommend first testing a small trial quantity of the filling, verifying the behaviour when pressing the disc-top mechanism and checking the sealing during transport in a horizontal position. If you plan to distribute the product, it is advisable to carry out a test of longer-term storage under conditions similar to real logistics.
To select a suitable bottle, vial or jar, we recommend using the extended filter within the packaging material categories. This filter is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category. It allows you to sort products according to several parameters, such as neck type, size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that corresponds to your specific formulation, design and method of dosing, and then choose the ideal variant for your product.
