The plastic bottle represents a practical and professional packaging suitable for filling various liquid preparations where cleanliness, easy handling and reliable closing are important. Thanks to its transparent design, it allows visual control of the contents, which will be appreciated especially by manufacturers of cosmetics, body care and home‑made preparations. The ergonomic shape makes filling, labelling and use in everyday dosing easier.
The packaging is made of high‑quality PET‑type plastic material, which is light, strong and resistant to common mechanical damage. PET bottles are popular in both the cosmetic and technical segments for their dimensional stability and good compatibility with a wide range of closures and dispensing systems. In combination with a ribbed cap, a functional unit is created that helps protect the contents from impurities and undesirable leakage.
Individual plastic bottles from this type of offer are compatible with various types of closures and dosing methods (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for the products in the e‑shop. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, as long as it is not visibly damaged or deformed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available in the e‑shop (products IPA 99 and ethanol 96). We recommend carrying out disinfection according to the nature of your formulation so that the cleanliness of the inner surface as well as of the closure is ensured.
After emptying, we recommend rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning agent and then rinsing thoroughly with water. Subsequently, it is necessary to disinfect the inner surface as well as the closure – alcohol‑based disinfectants are practical, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 or ethanol 96 denatured of plant origin, which you can find in the Handymade range. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature, away from a direct heat source, and only then refill it.
PET material is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures or thermal sterilization. In contact with hot water, steam or when washed in a dishwasher, the packaging may become deformed and the sealing properties of the closure may deteriorate. Therefore do not boil the bottle, do not expose it to a strong heat source and do not place it in a dishwasher; for disinfection, rather use alcohol‑based preparations and let it dry at room temperature.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste‑sorting rules. PET bottles can usually be placed in containers intended for plastic waste; before recycling, empty the packaging, rinse out any remaining contents if necessary, and separate the cap if it is made of another type of plastic. Always check the exact sorting method according to the instructions in your municipality and according to the recycling symbols given in the parameters of the specific product on the Handymade website.
The simplest way to choose a suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category in the e‑shop, you will find the filter at the top of the page, where you can sort packaging by neck type, size, colour and material. By combining these parameters, you will quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that will best suit your product, filling technology and desired design.
