The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles and appropriate handling are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available on Handymade, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to evaporate after application and only then refill the packaging.

Mechanical rinsing of product residues with warm (not boiling) water and a mild detergent is recommended, followed by thorough rinsing and natural drying. After drying, disinfect the packaging with an alcohol-based preparation and allow it to evaporate completely. Do not clean the aluminium cap with aggressive cleaning agents to avoid damaging the surface finish or the seal. With each reuse, visually check that the packaging is not mechanically damaged or significantly worn.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material specified in the product parameters on the website. Before handing it over for recycling, empty the packaging, rinse out any product residues, and separate the individual parts (plastic bottle and aluminium cap) so that they can be placed in the appropriate collection containers according to local waste-sorting rules. By following these principles, you will support efficient recycling processes and reduce environmental impact.
