A plastic bottle with a glossy surface and a practical dispenser with cap represents a professional solution for packaging modern liquid cosmetic products. Thanks to its sophisticated shape and reliable dispensing mechanism, it supports precise application and hygienic handling of the contents. The opaque design helps to protect sensitive components from light, which is particularly beneficial for products containing plant extracts or active ingredients.
The packaging is suitable for filling a wide range of liquid and slightly gel-like formulations that require repeated dosing without contact with a larger amount of air. The elegant combination of the glossy bottle and the aesthetic dispenser with cap creates a representative impression, making the bottle ready for use in home-made formulations as well as in small-scale cosmetic production.
This description relates to the complete combination of bottle + dispensing mechanism with cap. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular with regard to sealing, uniformity of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, content of oil and alcohol components, surface-active substances, etc.). This way you can verify that the selected packaging will work long term and without complications for your type of product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dispensing mechanism and subsequently disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely in a clean place so that moisture does not accumulate in the container, which could affect the stability of the final product.
Plastic cosmetic packaging is generally not intended for exposure to high temperatures or for sterilisation by boiling. When exposed to excessive heat, the bottle or the dispensing mechanism may deform undesirably, which could affect sealing and dosing accuracy. For the same reason, we do not recommend washing the packaging in a dishwasher. For cleaning and disinfection, it is better to use cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent followed by disinfection with alcohol, making sure that all parts are thoroughly dried.
The bottle with dispenser is ideal especially for low- to medium-viscosity liquid products such as light emulsions, fluids, serums and thin gel products. For very thick creams or balms, dispensing can be difficult, so we recommend performing a trial with a smaller amount of the formulation before final filling. This will allow you to confirm whether the selected consistency enables smooth and even dosing without overpressure or clogging of the pump.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules specified in the guidelines of your town or municipality. Before placing it in the container, remove any product residues, rinse the bottle and, depending on the material type, sort it into the appropriate recycling stream (the plastic type can be found in the parameter table on the product page). The dispensing mechanism may contain a combination of several materials, so it is usually placed in the plastic recycling stream; however, if local rules specify a different procedure, follow their recommendations.
Repeated use of the packaging is possible provided that suitable hygiene and manufacturing procedures are followed. Before each subsequent filling, the bottle, dispenser and cap must be disassembled (if the construction allows), mechanically cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. We also recommend keeping internal records of the number of reuse cycles and visually checking whether there is any wear to the thread, the seal or the dispensing mechanism itself.
When selecting a suitable bottle or other packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging material category. The advanced filter allows you to conveniently sort products according to several parameters at once – in particular by neck type, overall size, colour and materials used. This enables you to quickly narrow down your selection to packaging that fits your formulation and brand design, and then, based on the detailed description and parameters, choose the most suitable solution for your product.
