It suitably complements packaging for liquid products, where reliable sealing and comfortable handling during regular use are important. The product parameters state a cosmetic grade, thanks to which the closure is also suitable for products intended for the cosmetic segment.

FAQ – Most frequent questions

Is this cap also suitable for cosmetic products?

Yes, cosmetic grade is stated in the product parameters. In practice we always recommend testing the sealing and compatibility of the closure with the specific formulation (especially with a higher content of fragrance, surfactants or solvents).

Can the cap be used repeatedly?

Yes, the cap can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before the next filling we recommend cleaning it thoroughly and then disinfecting it – a suitable choice is e.g. IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. When using it repeatedly, also check whether the closure is not damaged or deformed.

How do I minimise the risk of leakage when carrying the bottle?

Make sure that the thread of the bottle and of the closure is clean and free of product residues, tighten the closure with adequate force and before use perform a short sealing test (for example by turning the bottle upside down). For more aggressive formulations we recommend a longer compatibility test.

How should I safely store the closures before use?

Store them in a dry and clean environment. We recommend protecting the closures against dust and direct contamination so that they are ready for hygienic use during filling.

How should I dispose of and recycle the packaging if I do not want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to reuse the closure, we recommend recycling it. Since it is a plastic packaging component, it usually belongs in the separated collection of plastics – nevertheless follow local rules and any material marking on the product. Before recycling, empty the closure and, if necessary, rinse off any product residues.
