Sea salt, fine, iodised, is produced by evaporating seawater under controlled conditions and then enriching it with a stable form of iodine. It is a fine-grained and pure salt that ensures perfect solubility and texture. In formulations it acts as a gentle exfoliant, viscosity regulator and natural electrolyte.

Use in formulation:

• Solubility: very good in water, insoluble in oils.
• Dosage: in scrubs 5-30 %, in bath products 10-20 %, in gels/emulsions 1-5 % according to the desired effect.
• Incorporation phase: primarily into the aqueous phase (as a salt solution or dispersion).
• Temperature resistance: resistant to high production temperatures.
