The ZENISOAPBASE soap base is used for the production of soaps and soap bouquets. It has a plant-based base and the final soap has excellent foaming properties and, thanks to the high glycerin content, also excellently moisturizes the skin. It is characterized by an intensely white colour and minimal dew formation on the surface and a longer setting time, which you will appreciate for more demanding projects. During longer standing, there is no loss of volume of the soap casts (important especially when creating bouquets). The soap base is free from animal fats and oils – 100% vegan.

When colouring the base with ZENICOLOR colourants, it is better to mix 70% of the transparent CLEAR base and 30% of the white WHITE base in order to avoid excessive consumption of colourants.

Melting temperature: 65 °C
When heating, do not exceed a temperature of 75 °C!

Working with the soap base is not difficult at all. Simply cut the required amount of soap base into smaller pieces; this speeds up the melting phase of the base. Slowly heat the base in a water bath or in a microwave. Be careful, the base must not boil, so heat it slowly. Into the melted base you can add a few drops of essential or fragrance oil, liquid or powdered colourant and, for variety, dried herbs.

Stir slowly so that unnecessary air bubbles do not form, which would create holes after setting. Pour the soap base into the prepared mould. Immediately after pouring, we recommend applying a few sprays with an atomizer of a bubble remover – this is 99% isopropanol. The final step is to allow it to set. After unmoulding, you can use the soap immediately, but we recommend letting the base stand for about 2 weeks for better properties.
