Sea salt, fine, iodized is produced by evaporating seawater under controlled conditions and subsequently enriching it with a stable form of iodine. It is a fine-grained and pure salt that ensures perfect solubility and texture. In formulations, it acts as a gentle exfoliant, viscosity regulator and natural electrolyte.

• Solubility: very good in water, insoluble in oils.
• Dosage: in scrubs 5–30 %, in bath products 10–20 %, in gels/emulsions 1–5 % depending on the desired effect.
• Phase of incorporation: primarily into the water phase (as a saline solution or dispersion).
• Thermal resistance: resistant to high processing temperatures.
