The glass bottle with a glossy white dropper represents a professional packaging solution for precise dosing of liquid formulations. Thanks to the durable glass and high-quality dropper, it is suitable for filling products where application accuracy, protection of the contents and the aesthetic appearance of the final product are important. The bottle is ideal for cosmetic and other liquid preparations that require hygienic and reliable packaging.
This packaging is intended as a standalone bottle that is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators), according to the parameters selected in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for products containing acids, a high proportion of alcohol or essential oils.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle is designed primarily for liquid to slightly viscous products where drop-by-drop dosing is desired. For thicker oils and serums, we recommend carrying out a dosing trial before final implementation of the packaging to verify the dropper’s flow and application comfort. For very thick formulations, a package with a pump or another type of dispenser may be more suitable.
The glass packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to prevent microbial contamination and undesirable interactions between residues of the original product and the new fill. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose, which you can find in the Handymade range, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely.
First remove residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable solvent (for example oil for oil-based products or water with a mild cleansing agent for water-based formulations). Then rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry. As a final step we recommend disinfecting the inner surface of the glass and the dropper using alcohol (for example IPA or ethanol) and then allowing them to dry completely at room temperature. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination during the next filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is suitable for disposal in glass collection containers once it has been emptied and given a basic clean. The dropper and any plastic or rubber components must be sorted according to material type, or disposed of in mixed waste if local recycling rules do not allow separate sorting. Always follow the symbols and material information provided with the product and the local waste sorting regulations.
The easiest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories on Handymade. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, vials or jars) you will find the filter at the top of the page. Using it, you can select specifically according to parameters such as neck type and diameter, overall size, colour or packaging material. In this way you can quickly narrow down the range to those packages that are most suitable for the specific product and the intended dosing method.
