Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly mechanically cleaned, well rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant-based ethanol. Only after the packaging has completely dried do we recommend refilling the bottle. When changing the type of product (e.g. from perfume oil to facial serum) it is especially important to clean and disinfect the packaging perfectly to avoid unwanted mixing of scents or components.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. The glass part can, after emptying and rinsing, be placed in the appropriate glass container according to local waste separation rules. The aluminium closure can, if this is allowed in your municipality, be sorted together with metal packaging. Before recycling, it is advisable to remove labels and product residues so that the packaging is as clean as possible and ready for further processing in the recycling process.
