Glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging intended for precise dosing of cosmetic and other liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and practical dropper, it is suitable for filling serums, oils, concentrates and other products for which controlled drop-by-drop application is important. The dark opaque glass helps protect sensitive ingredients from light, thereby supporting the stability and longevity of the formulation.
The packaging is designed to provide reliable protection of the contents while at the same time looking aesthetically clean and professional. The compact bottle is suitable for home formulations as well as smaller artisan brands that need functional and representative packaging for their products.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is suitable for most oil-based and aqueous cosmetic formulations intended for external use. Before filling, we recommend performing a trial filling in a smaller quantity in order to verify the compatibility of the specific formula with the packaging, the dosing properties and the behaviour of the dropper during normal use.
Before the first filling, it is advisable to mechanically clean the bottle, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. For disinfection, you can use, for example, the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured available on Handymade.sk. After applying the disinfectant, let the packaging dry freely so that any alcohol residues are removed before the actual filling.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygienic procedures are observed. Before each new filling, first thoroughly clean the bottle and the dropper mechanically, rinse them and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and extends the shelf life of the new product.
Store the bottle with the product well closed, in an upright position and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Avoid environments with high humidity and extreme temperature fluctuations. The dark glass helps to limit light penetration; nevertheless, it is advisable to keep products in a dry and shaded place to support their stability and maintain the level of quality throughout the entire period of use.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with local rules for sorted waste. After emptying and roughly rinsing, place the glass packaging in the container designated for glass. Separate plastic components, such as the dropper or the closure, and sort them according to the recommended material type indicated in the product parameters. In this way, you will support efficient waste recovery and reduce the environmental burden.
