The glass bottle with a glossy black surface and a white ribbed safety cap is intended for professional as well as home packaging of various liquid or slightly viscous products. High-quality dark glass provides increased protection from light, which is particularly suitable for sensitive formulations that require stable conditions during storage. The safety cap with a tamper-evident ring also helps protect the contents from unwanted opening and is comfortable to handle even with frequent use.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of caps and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected when ordering. The packaging and cap combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for products with a higher content of alcohol, active substances or essential oils.

Yes, you can use the glass bottle repeatedly if you follow hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only afterwards should you fill the bottle with a clean product and ensure suitable storage.
First remove residues of the original contents by rinsing with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent that is compatible with the formulation used. Allow the bottle to drain well and dry. Then disinfect the inner and outer surface – it is recommended to use for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely so that no alcohol residues remain, and only then refill it.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, its recycling is recommended in accordance with local waste separation rules. If possible, clean the glass bottle of product residues and remove the cap. Dispose of the glass itself in the container designated for glass waste, and sort the cap made of plastic or composite material according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Always follow the recycling symbols and the recommendations given with the product on the Handymade.sk website and local guidelines for waste separation.
Dark, opaque glass provides increased protection from light compared with clear glass, which is advantageous for products that are sensitive to light, such as certain oils and extracts. At the same time, it is important to follow the storage conditions recommended by the filler manufacturer – in particular to protect the product from direct sunlight and high temperatures. In the case of highly sensitive formulations, we recommend performing your own stability tests in the selected packaging.

You can choose a suitable neck finish, size, colour and packaging material and thus quickly narrow down the selection to bottles, vials or other containers that best correspond to your product and filling technology.
