Glass bottle with dropper closure represents a professional packaging suitable for precise dosing of cosmetic and technical liquids. Thanks to the combination of durable glass and dropper, it is suitable for filling formulations that require controlled use drop by drop and minimized contact with the external environment.
Dark, opaque glass provides increased protection against light, which is especially important for preparations sensitive to degradation caused by UV radiation. The packaging is stable, aesthetic and suitable for artisanal as well as small-scale production, where the professional appearance of the final product is important.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure that the packaging works reliably with the specific product.

Before the first filling, it is advisable to visually check the packaging, remove any dust and impurities and then clean and disinfect it thoroughly. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 95–96 % plant-based ethanol. After applying the alcohol, let the bottle and the dropper dry completely at room temperature and only then fill the packaging with the final product.
The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend washing the bottle and the dropper thoroughly, checking for mechanical wear and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant-based ethanol. Disinfection helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of the new fill.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, sorting it correctly according to the material stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in the container designated for glass, while the dropper and additional plastic or rubber components must be disassembled and sorted as plastic or mixed waste according to local rules. Always follow the recommendations of your waste collection company and the material information given with the product on the Handymade.sk website.
The dropper bottle is ideal for formulations that require precise dosing drop by drop – for example concentrated facial serums, oil elixirs, cosmetic tinctures, intensive caring oils for the scalp, or aromatherapeutic oil blends intended for local application. The dropper helps to limit excessive consumption of the product and allows convenient targeted application to small areas.
