A glass bottle with a glossy black surface and a black-gold spray pump represents an elegant and professional packaging suitable for a wide range of cosmetic and aromatherapeutic products. High-quality glass combined with a functional spray pump enables precise dosing of a fine mist, which is ideal for products that require even application to the skin, hair or a surface. The dark glass naturally helps to reduce light penetration to sensitive components, thereby contributing to the stability and protection of the contents during use and storage.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To select a suitable bottle, vial or jar, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, the option to filter by several parameters appears at the top of the page – especially neck finish, size, colour and material. Using these filters, you can quickly narrow the offer down to packaging that meets the needs of your product and the planned dosing method.
Yes, the glass bottle and the spray pump can, if hygiene principles are followed, be used repeatedly within your own production or testing. However, before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes in the fragrance or stability of your product.
The spray pump is ideal for liquid formulations with low to medium viscosity, such as facial and body waters, hydrolats, refreshing mists, aromatherapeutic blends, light hair products and disinfectant solutions. Thicker emulsions, oil serums with higher viscosity or gels may have limited passage through the nozzle, so it is always necessary to test the dosing in advance with the specific formula. In this way you verify the smooth operation of the mechanism, even atomization and the correct droplet size.
After the contents have been used up, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with the remainder of a suitable solvent (for example water or alcohol, depending on the nature of the original product), then washing it with warm water and a mild detergent. After thoroughly rinsing with clean water, allow the glass to dry completely. Then disinfect the packaging with a suitable product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol 96 %. For the spray pump we recommend “pumping through” the disinfectant solution several times through the mechanism so that the inner capillary and the nozzle are also cleaned.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle and spray pump, it is appropriate to recycle them responsibly in line with the material composition stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can generally be placed, after emptying and basic rinsing, into a container intended for glass. The mechanical spray pump consists of several components (plastic, metal spring etc.), so according to local rules classify it as mixed or sorted waste in accordance with the recommendations of your municipality. Before handing over for recycling, always remove product residues and follow the recycling symbols and the information in the parameter table directly on the product page on Handymade.sk.
The glossy black surface of the glass bottle provides an elegant background for various labelling methods. You can use self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves or professional direct printing on glass, depending on your print supplier’s capabilities. When designing the labels, we recommend taking into account sufficient colour contrast with the dark background and leaving space for mandatory information (ingredients, use-by date, batch number etc.). Before serial labelling, always test the adhesion of the label adhesive on the glass and its resistance to possible contact with the product or with cleaning agents.
