The glass bottle with spray pump is a professional packaging solution suitable for clean and precise dosing of liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to the high-quality material, it is ideal for filling cosmetic and technical solutions that require hygienic and repeatable application directly onto the skin, hair, or a surface. The opaque glass helps to limit light penetration, which contributes to protecting sensitive components inside the packaging and to maintaining stable quality of the filled product.
This packaging is supplied directly in the bottle + spray pump combination, with the individual components mutually adjusted to ensure reliable performance. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works optimally with your product.

Glass packaging is generally very well tolerated by formulations containing essential oils and active ingredients, as glass belongs among chemically stable materials. Nevertheless, we recommend always performing your own compatibility test with the specific composition – especially in the case of a high proportion of essential oils or unconventional raw materials. Monitor the sealing, the spray pump functionality and any changes of the contents during storage.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the spray pump to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend using technical alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely before refilling them.
We recommend storing filled packaging in a dry, clean place protected from direct sunlight and excessive heat. The dark glass itself already helps to limit the impact of light on sensitive components, but optimal temperature and stable conditions further support the long-term quality of the product. Always close the bottles tightly to prevent evaporation and contamination of the contents.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residues. Sort the glass part of the bottle into the container intended for glass according to local waste collection rules. Dispose of the plastic components of the spray pump (head, tube, any seals) in the relevant plastic container or in mixed waste if your local sorting system does not allow them to be recycled separately. When recycling, always follow the recommendations of your municipality and the material composition specified in the product parameters.
