The glass bottle, black glossy, roll-on is a practical container for the precise and hygienic application of liquid formulations directly on the skin. The opaque glass naturally helps to protect the contents from light and contributes to UV protection, which is advantageous for more sensitive active ingredients, extracts and aromatic blends. Glass is a stable and neutral-acting material that does not absorb fragrances and promotes the preservation of formulation properties during storage and use. This packaging is food grade.
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend to perform your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Roll-on is suitable for liquid products intended for topical application, especially oil mixtures or low viscosity solutions. For higher viscosity formulations, we recommend that you test the smoothness of application and the behaviour of the applicator in practice.
Opaque glass restricts light access and naturally helps to protect the contents from UV radiation. This is advantageous in formulations where light can affect the stability, fragrance or colour of the product.
We recommend applying to clean, dry skin, always close the container after use and avoid unnecessary contact of the applicator with dirt. For sensitive formulations, it is advisable to adjust the method of use to minimize the transfer of dirt into the packaging.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Prior to filling, the container should be cleaned and disinfected with IPA 99% (ALK001) or ethanol 96% ( ALK002) and then allowed to dry completely.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that you recycle it. After emptying the glass bottle, clean it and take it to the glass collection. Separate the roll-on head and cap and sort by material into the plastics collection according to the rules in your municipality.
