The glass bottle with nasal spray applicator is a specialized packaging intended mainly for nasal solutions, moisturizing and caring preparations for the nose, or other liquid formulations that require gentle and precisely targeted dosing. Thanks to high-quality glass and a functional spray mechanism, it enables hygienic, economical and controlled use of the contents without unnecessary waste.
The smooth inner surface of the glass minimizes interaction with the contents and is suitable for the stable storage of more sensitive liquid blends. Dark, opaque glass provides natural protection against undesirable light exposure, which helps protect the properties of formulations based on water, hydrolates or selected extracts. In combination with a precise nasal spray, it is a practical and professional-looking packaging for small batches as well as final products.
This bottle is supplied with a specialized nasal spray applicator that is designed for targeted dosing of the contents directly into the nasal cavity. When selecting other compatible closures or applicators according to the product parameters, it applies that they are compatible with various types of closures and dosing (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the chosen parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Before the first filling, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle and the relevant applicator, mechanically cleaning the glass part, and then disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation. In practice, the use of technical isopropyl alcohol or ethanol has proven effective – for this purpose you can use, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow all parts to air out and dry thoroughly so that residual alcohol does not affect the properties of the final preparation.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled appropriately and undamaged, but it is always necessary to observe strict hygiene principles. Before each new filling, both the glass bottle and the plastic parts of the applicator must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and then disinfected with alcohol (for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný). We recommend repeated use only if the mechanical functionality of the sprayer is maintained and there is no visible wear or contamination that cannot be safely removed.
Always store the bottle tightly closed, in an upright position and out of direct sunlight. A dry, clean and cooler environment without significant temperature fluctuations is suitable. Even though dark glass helps protect the contents from light, it is advisable to avoid long‑term exposure to heat (for example near radiators or in a car during summer). When storing already filled preparations, follow the recommendations for the specific formulation or the legislative requirements related to the given type of product.
Before recycling, we recommend emptying the bottle and, if possible, rinsing out any remaining contents. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container intended for glass, while the plastic parts of the applicator (pump, cap, any seals) belong in the separate collection of plastics or in mixed waste according to local sorting rules. The specific recommended procedure should be derived from the material information given in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website, and you should follow local regulations for waste management. If you have the possibility to continue using the packaging safely and hygienically, give preference to reuse over disposal.
