The glass bottle with a matte black surface and safety cap is a professional packaging solution ideal for filling various liquid preparations that require reliable protection and precise dosing. Thanks to the dark design of the glass, it helps protect more sensitive contents from the effects of light, which is particularly suitable for formulations with a higher proportion of plant extracts, oils and active ingredients.
This type of packaging is designed to provide a stable, aesthetic and practical solution for both cosmetic and laboratory use. The matte surface of the bottle looks elegant, combines well with labels and professional branding, and the white cap with a safety feature increases safety during storage and transport.
This glass bottle is a standalone package and is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters – for example with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators. All combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The dark glass of the packaging helps to limit the effect of light on the contents, which is advantageous for preparations with a higher proportion of sensitive or active substances such as plant extracts or cosmetic serums. The stability of the glass material supports the preservation of the formulation’s properties, but we always recommend performing your own stability test with the specific product.
The glass packaging can be reused if proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. In this way, you reduce the risk of contamination and of the new formulation being affected by residues of the previous product.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, removing any dust impurities and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol solution. After applying the disinfectant, allow the packaging to air out and dry thoroughly so that alcohol residues do not affect the fragrance or stability of your formulation. For repeated use, proceed in the same way and always check whether the thread or the cap seal has not been damaged.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle is generally placed in a container designated for glass, and the plastic or combined cap must be unscrewed and sorted separately according to the type of plastic. Before handing it over for recycling, it is advisable to rinse the packaging to remove product residues so that they do not affect the quality of the sorted waste and its processing.
