The glass bottle with a black matte surface and a black spray pump represents an elegant and professional packaging solution for various cosmetic and technical formulations. Thanks to high-quality workmanship and a precise spray pump, it enables fine and even application of liquids in the form of a mist or fine spray, which is ideal for products where dosage and user comfort are important. The dark glass also helps reduce light penetration to the sensitive components of the formulas, which, with proper storage, supports longer stability and shelf life of the contents.
This glass bottle with spray pump is designed as a ready-made combination of packaging and dosing system, offering convenient and hygienic spraying without the need for additional components. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the final product will remain stable and safe throughout its entire period of use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can, if hygienic principles are observed, be safely reused. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and subsequently disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way you minimise the risk of microbial contamination and maintain the quality of your preparations.
The spray pump is intended primarily for low-viscosity liquids that need to be applied in the form of a fine spray. These include, for example, facial and body waters, hydrolats, aromatic sprays, hair tonics and light alcohol-based and disinfectant preparations. For thicker emulsions or oils, we always recommend performing a practical test to verify whether the dosing is sufficiently smooth and even.
We recommend first rinsing the glass part of the packaging with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. Subsequently, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface with alcohol – it is practical to use the preparations IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. The spray pump itself must be flushed with a suitable liquid (for example water or alcohol, depending on the type of previous filling) and actuated several times so that the new solution passes through the entire mechanism. Before refilling, make sure that all parts are dry and clean.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material of the individual parts. After cleaning and removing any product residues, place the glass bottle in the collection intended for packaging glass. The spray pump and plastic components should be sorted according to the information given in the parameters of the specific product, where you will also find the material composition and recycling recommendations. Before placing them in collection containers, it is advisable to remove product residues from the packaging in order to facilitate the recycling process.
When selecting a suitable bottle, vial or jar, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. With the help of the filter, you can clearly sort the packaging according to key parameters – type and size of neck, total volume or size, colour and material. This way you can quickly display only those packages that correspond to your formula and the intended method of dosing.
We recommend storing products in the bottle in a dry and cooler place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Even though dark glass helps limit light penetration, sensitive formulas (for example those containing unstable active substances or essential oils) benefit from being kept in the shade and at a stable temperature. Always close the bottle carefully with the spray pump to minimise contact of the contents with air and any possible contamination.
