Yes, the bottle and the spray pump can be reused if handled properly; however, we recommend adhering to strict hygiene principles. Before each refilling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose. In our range you will find, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and ensure safe use of the new refill.

We recommend rinsing the glass container with a suitable cleaning agent before reuse, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the packaging with alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol) and again allow it to air out. For the spray pump, it is important that it does not become clogged – after using thicker or more oily formulations, it is advisable to flush the mechanism through with clean alcohol or water so that spraying remains even. Always make sure that all components are dry and clean before refilling.

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the recommendations given for the product in the parameters section. After thorough emptying and rinsing, the glass part can be placed in glass waste, while the spray pump (plastic and metal component) should be separated from the bottle and sorted according to the material type indicated in the parameter table for the product. Before recycling, make sure that no residues of hazardous substances or concentrated chemical mixtures remain in the packaging.

The bottle with spray pump is ideal mainly for liquid, low-viscosity formulations that need to be applied as a fine mist. In practice, this includes, for example, facial and body sprays, hydrolats, toners, light hair tonics, water-alcohol blends or air fresheners. For thicker emulsions or oils, spraying may be limited, so we recommend always testing the specific formula directly in this packaging and verifying both the continuity of dosing and the long-term functionality of the mechanism.
