Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging mechanically, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or with ethanol of plant origin. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for reuse. With repeated use we recommend also regularly checking the condition of the closure and the seal in order to maintain reliable functionality.

First remove any residue of the original contents, rinse the bottle with warm water and, depending on the type of the original product, use a suitable cleaning agent (ideally a mild detergent). After thorough rinsing with clean water, let the packaging drain and then apply disinfection – we recommend using either IPA 99 % or 96 % plant-based ethanol. Allow the disinfectant solution to act for a short time, shake the bottle well and, after the alcohol has drained off, let it dry completely at room temperature. Only then is the container ready for new filling.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly. The glass part of the bottle can, in most sorting systems, be placed in the container intended for glass waste (usually green or white depending on the local system). Before disposal, remove the closure and any remaining product. The closure and any plastic components must be sorted according to the material type stated in the product parameters and according to local recycling rules – they usually belong in plastic waste. By recycling, you help to reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
