Glass bottle – dropper bottle with white cap represents a high-quality and durable packaging suitable for precise dosing of various liquid and semi-liquid formulations. Thanks to the solid glass wall and reliable closure, the packaging is ideal for filling products where protection of the contents, cleanliness, and easy handling during use as well as storage are important.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads, or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing behavior, and the stability of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation over the planned period of use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned of residues of the previous product and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging has completely dried and aired out is it appropriate to proceed with filling a new formulation.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically cleaning the glass bottle from dust, rinsing it with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water, and allowing it to dry completely. Afterwards, it is appropriate to disinfect the inner surface and neck of the packaging with an alcohol solution (for example using IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % preparations) in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. After disinfection, allow the packaging to air out well and only then proceed with filling the final product.
The glass dropper bottle is ideal especially for liquid and drop products such as oils, tonics, or liquid blends. For thicker or highly viscous formulations, we recommend taking into account the type of closure or applicator chosen so that dosing remains smooth and comfortable. Before filling the entire batch, it is advisable to test the behavior of the product in the packaging and the method of application on a small test sample.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate, after emptying and basic cleaning, to place it in sorted waste according to the material indicated in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Generally separate the glass part of the packaging from the cap and other components and place it in the appropriate container designated for recycling that type of material. By following the recommendations for waste sorting according to local rules and according to the information in the parameters, you contribute to effective recycling and to reducing the amount of waste.
To make it easier to choose the ideal packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter, packaging can be clearly sorted and combined according to several parameters – especially according to neck type, size, color, and material. Thanks to this, you will quickly find bottles, jars, or dropper bottles that will best match the character of your product and the desired method of dosing.
We recommend storing filled glass bottles in a dry, clean environment, protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is important that the cap is always tightly closed and that the packaging does not move freely during transport, thereby minimizing the risk of mechanical damage. For more sensitive formulations, it is advisable to follow the recommended storage temperature range stated for the specific product and regularly visually check the condition of the contents and the packaging.
