Glass bottle – medicine bottle with 28 mm thread and black ribbed dispenser is a professional packaging designed for precise dosing of liquid preparations. Thanks to the high‑quality glass and functional dispensing system, it is suitable for filling preparations where control of the quantity, cleanliness of application and reliable protection of the contents during storage and use are important.
The packaging is designed to support the stability of formulations, minimise the product’s contact with the environment and facilitate dosing in cosmetic, laboratory and craft applications. The combination of glass medicine bottle and ribbed dispenser ensures comfortable gripping, precise dosing and repeatable functionality in everyday use.
This glass bottle – medicine bottle is a stand‑alone packaging offered on Handymade with a compatible ribbed dispenser. Within the range, however, additional closing and dispensing solutions are available for this neck type. Medicine bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially in the case of active or atypical components.

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the closure and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using IPA (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and ensures safer repeated use.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, thoroughly rinsing it with drinking water and allowing it to dry. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the contact parts of the closure with alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % isopryl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Before filling, make sure that no residues of water or cleaning agents remain in the packaging, as these could affect the stability or appearance of your product.

The medicine bottle is designed for filling liquid products including oil solutions and thinner emulsions, with the dispenser allowing more controlled dispensing. For very thick or highly viscous formulations, dosing may be less smooth, so we always recommend carrying out a small test with the specific recipe. Based on the result, you can then consider changing the type of closure or packaging within the same neck category if needed.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it and disposing of any product residues in accordance with the nature of the substance used. The glass part of the bottle can generally be placed in sorted glass collection, while the plastic closure and dispensing mechanism are usually placed in sorted plastic waste. Specific recycling recommendations follow the types of materials listed in the parameter table on the product page on the Handymade website and the local rules for sorted collection in your municipality or city.
