The glass dropper bottle with a white surface and a black dropper with a glossy stripe represents professional packaging suitable for precise dosing of various liquid formulations. The opaque glass finish helps limit light penetration to the contents, which contributes to the stability of sensitive components and to longer product shelf life. The combination of high-quality glass and a functional dropper enables hygienic, controlled and repeatable dosing without unnecessary waste of the filled product.
This product is supplied as a functional combination of glass bottle and dropper, ready for immediate filling. Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify the behaviour of the packaging with your specific product under real conditions of use and storage.

The glass dropper bottle is suitable for formulations that contain essential oils or active substances, provided these components are commonly used in cosmetics or aromatherapy. The opaque surface limits the effect of light, which contributes to the stability of sensitive components. For every new formula we recommend performing your own compatibility test to verify the behaviour of the product during long-term storage.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and properly disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill them.
The dropper should first be mechanically cleaned of product residues, for example by rinsing it in warm water with a mild cleaning agent that is compatible with the formulation used. We then recommend rinsing the glass part of the dropper with alcohol to reduce the microbial load. Rubber or plastic parts must be cleaned gently, without excessive mechanical stress, so that the sealing is not damaged. After cleaning, allow all parts to dry thoroughly at room temperature.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition given in the product parameters. After removing any remaining contents, the glass part of the bottle should be taken to the appropriate separated glass collection according to local rules. The closure and the dropper, which are made of several materials, must be disposed of in accordance with the recommendations arising from the product parameters and local regulations for sorted or mixed waste. Before handing over the packaging for recycling, it is advisable to roughly rinse it to remove product residues.
